Stick up your arse, sideways. Who made you a mod???

You're getting really uppity lately. Next thing you know, you'll be one of those people who run around picking on posters' grammar.

Also, please try and find an OLDER link to use. Something older than two years please. I think 1999 was a good year for postings.

RR. I know we don't agree on some teaching styles (which is ironic because most people here would say you have an opinion on nothing) but this an issue I agree with you on. I expected the reply to be from a mod telling you not to start an entire thread complaining about AVATAR size but to inform a mod about it.

Which i think is a load of crap. The mods seem to rarely reel in the oversized avatars. (Even mine is still a little on the "large" side.) It is really a problem when the AVATAR throws the window size out of proportion so you have to scroll sideways to see the message. They are the AVATARS that bother me. If they don't do that I don't care so much.

And on a related issue..tiger beer. As much as I love her ass, I think tiger beer 2.0 deserves an update. (Did I really say that? I will miss her so much when she is gone...) Razz

And inkoreaforgood... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Inkoreaforgood, who is cranky and b*tchy? Real Reality has merely said what 90% of us think. Nothing wrong with that. If you want to take a cheap shot at him, find a more appropriate place.

Hehe...I know.
The problem is I put it up as a joke LAST time we were fighting about AVATARS and then it sort of became representitive of my posts and I had a hard time taking it down. Smile

Since I am not in Korea anymore I guess I shouldn't worry about losing my identity. Smile Maybe I will switch it back to the turtle AVATARS I used in the past.

Mine is short and stubby, just like all good ajummas. Is there an emoticon with a big perm?

inkoreaforgood, while we're on the subject, what the .... is your avatar? A spinach pie having a quiet moment observing a waterfall? I'll give you points for originality.

This post seems like a TOS violation. Inkoreaforbad you are not acting like a "professional ESL teacher" with this post. I am surprised because this board is "a professional board for professional ESL teachers" and there is some talk of keeping it that way.

Edited by me due to a PM that was as professional as it was unexpected

Avatars make the place more interesting. As long as they are not too wide (forcing you to keep scrolling to the right to read all the text), I think big avatars are cool.

This post seems like a TOS violation- but those are ok if they support the mods position eh? Inkoreaforbad you are not acting like a "professional ESL teacher" with this post. Just my bad attitude, I guess.

RR keeps posting links, and only links. And often the same links again and again. It's like someone quoting Star Wars repeatedly. After a couple of years, it gets irritating, like ten pounds of sand in your undies. Now he's advanced, links plus an opinion!!! Oh shock, oh horror. Shocked Shocked Shocked

My avatar is a butter tart, btw.
