Where is the best place to take a Korean language class in or near Kangnam? |

I studied at Seoul Langauge Academy in Kangnam. I would only last a month at a time. It seemed to be more easy for japanese students. Most students who lasted seemed to be non-westerners. They use the Ganada book series. The owner is a kind, understanding lady. It costs maybe 240,000 per month or 1 1/2 months? I forget the session length. It depends a lot on the teacher. Their philosophy there is "no English" but some of the instructors use a little. I found it horrible, as a beginner, to try to learn with no explanations in English. I dropped one class because one teacher I had knew no English. It all moved really fast, too. |

I think I might try that just to learn what it's like to study a language from an untrained and poorly-prepared native speaker who doesn't know my language. Maybe give me a valuable perspective... |
