Gang,
Silly silly question, but humour me. Is it possible for someone to "import" a virus through the use of a floppy disk (A: drive)? Liklihood?
Thanks.

You mean to have a disk infected and then somehow it gets to your system? Yes, very possible...but you would have to run something from the disk....an .exe file of some kind. |

or... copy a file over that has a virus embedded in it like a macro virus for a Word doc or a javascript virus in an html page... right? |

Or if you left the disk in the drive when you booted up and there was a nasty batch file on it. |

Sure, but then the ".exe" simply becomes Office. anyways, they will always need to be run somehow. |
