Gang,

Silly silly question, but humour me. Is it possible for someone to "import" a virus through the use of a floppy disk (A: drive)? Liklihood?

Thanks.

You mean to have a disk infected and then somehow it gets to your system? Yes, very possible...but you would have to run something from the disk....an .exe file of some kind.

Or if you left the disk in the drive when you booted up and there was a nasty batch file on it.

Sure, but then the ".exe" simply becomes Office. anyways, they will always need to be run somehow.
