Hi guys,

I arrived in Incheon on Friday and have just been moved into my aptment by school. Its going really well at the moment (touch wood) and I'm having a great time.

I am a internetaholic and while it looks like i'll have loads of time at school to surf the waves (i'm in EPIK) I really want to download the latest tv (i'm already having LARGE family guy withdrawal symptoms Smile) and therefore I want BB setup in my home ASAP. How would I go about it? I think I'm just going to get a mobile phone but will I need a telephone line, like u do in the UK? got any names I can give my assistant in the school? I here megapass is good from a quick search of boards but how much is it and what sort of speeds am I looking at?

Thanks!

Chris

All the Korean ISP's are lightning fast compared to the UK. You'll be stoked whichever one you choose.

I like the service from Hanaro. 35,000 per month for telephone and internet.

Your local cable TV company may be able to do an internet and TV package which could be the cheapest option.

Anyway, they're all pretty good.

Megapass is a little more expensive but I think they claim to have the fastest connections. It doesn't really matter for websites outside Korea where everything slows down anyway.

I'd get the cheapest option. I'll bet it's still a great 2mb per second connection.
