I was wondering, when North Korea invades, will all foreigners(white) be tortured and then shot if they are unlucky enough to be caught here?
I was also wondering would any Korean married, and their family be also given the same treatment?
Now I know this is a hypothetical question but what do you think?

I think I would be given a command in the Korean People's Army.

I want to sit in the stadium and hold one of those colored cards that go into the Kim Jong Il mosaics.

You would be used for propaganda purposes. They would have you on TV denoucing the American Imperialists and their capitalist running dogs in the US allied nations.

The North seems to have a penchant for holding hostages. There are several hundred left over from the War, plus the couple of hundred they kidnapped after the war. As for foreigners, there was that guy who ended up married to the Japanese captive they finally let go last year.

If you are really concerned about what would happen, may I suggest you re-read how the Nork cheerleaders acted when they saw KJI's pic getting rained on. Get a good pic of the Dear Leader and have it ready to hold up over your head when you shout, "Don't shoot!" That might just get you a nice Nork dacha.

Honestly, I think that the North would try to convince the world that all was normal here. That they had simply unified their own country. They'd try to make it look like they are now happy and content and that foreigners are welcome (so that they too could report that all is well).

That's what they would try to do at least.

You expressed my words exactly. Only if they could use foreign posterboys and girls could they hope to establish some sort of legitimacy to sovereignty.
