Just had a stand up screaming match with my former director. I walked into a class he was teaching and shouted in a loud voice that I wanted the money he owes me. I kept it up till he called the police. I left before the police arrived. He'd physically tried to keep me there.
This happened after I'd shown a great deal of restraint in asking politely every now and then for him to pay me. He finally admitted to me that he wasn't going to pay. When I said I intended to take the issue to the Labour Board he threatened that I'd not fulfilled the contract and hadn't a leg to stand on.

Ill advised move on my part maybe but I'm sorely p*ssed off.

>. Ummmmm ... tough situation man Shocked I'm currently embroiled in something similar. At any time, esp. in Asian culture we should be very careful mind you NOT to lose our tempers. I became quite impassioned the other night, yet essentially remained mentally focused and never actually yelled & screamed Confused

As far as the Labour Board thing goes, do you have any Korean friends who are gonna accompany you and help translate ??? You could be in the right BUT these slimeball directors will do damn near anything it seems to screw foreigners of their severance etc based on the flimsiest of reasons without the least bit of warning Twisted Evil Without a respectable translator, you may be SOL Rolling Eyes

btw - if this guy is withholding your "wages", from what i understand he IS essentially breaking the law. Go to the Labour Board and they'll almost certainly force this bozo to pay you ... Surprised
