why do some torrents start downloading and appear in the torrent window while others just put something on the desktop (or wherever) but dont seem to be downloading? it says it's a torrent file but doesn't do anything and is only a few kbs. do i leave it and wait?
any hints? |

Which Torrent client are you using?
For Bit Comet, you need to open the file for it to work. Saving the file to the desk does nothing except leave a link to the download. The files that go to your desktop need to be opened before they will start downloading. |
