Hello Dave's ESL Forum Readers,
Can anyone recommend a short term Apartment where I can stay the first month or two when I arrive in Seoul? I want to come and study Korean Language for 8 or 10 weeks before looking for job. I would like to stay in someplace temporary first while I study and look for ideal job and apartment. I think around 600,000 or 700,000 a month would be OK. No need for kitchen, but guests should be allowed in the room.
I have seen posts here recommending nice list of guesthouses. I have looked at these websites for Guesthouses, and some seem very nice, but they just do not seem livable for 2 months. I am looking for something that usually rents by the month rather daily rentals; something not a daily guesthouse.
I will probably study at Sogang or SNU, or maybe Ganada School near Hongik University Subway Station.
I know many teaching jobs come with living space, but I think I will want my own apartment away from school.
I have found this place on this forum already that seems to be what I want, though not in a great location. http://www.excellentvill.com/

Thanks,
Drew

I don't really know of anything but you should be able to find something pretty damn nice for that amount of money.
