Korean Reality Remains All Work and No Play
Married women with children had the hardest time....
...average daily study time for primary school children increased by three minutes from five years ago to six hours and 14 minutes. The time they studied at school during weekdays fell by 11 minutes, but they studied 23 minutes more at places outside school like private academies or tutoring.
The number of middle school students who take courses outside school increased most from 36.1 percent from five years ago to 51.2 percent. Among high school students, the figure rose slightly to 24.9 percent as they usually put more emphasis on formal school.
But college students were found to have slacked off,...
