Okay, finally got a new computer with a CD DVD burner, and now I need to know the good, fast and clean sites to go to to download music. (Clean as in no spyware, etc.)

Any good suggestions, folks?

Yeah, have bittorrent. Right now I am using isohunt, but it seems really slow.

I'll give your site a try.

Thanks

Try www.filelist.org It has a good selection of movies, tv shows, games, and music if I'm not mistaken. You do have to sign up to become a member (it's totally free) and all they ask is that you maintain at least a 1:1 ratio for what you download. I think it's only fair anyway to upload at least what you download but I suppose there are others who prefer just to be leechers.

Another one that I like is torrentreactor.net as it has a whole bunch and of course www.thepiratebay.org which is based in Sweden and they enjoy posting "legal threats" from the various companies that try to threaten them but the Swedish supreme court ruled that it's legal so they're laughing it up at the moment and have a whole bunch of stuff, check it out.

Try blueyoyo.com for fast downloads with other users in Korea.
Many times I've been getting download speeds of up to 1 meg a second which is astronomical.
Catch is it ceases to be a free site in around 10 days so get in quickly.

Torrentspy is having overload problems, and I can only even get into isohunt every couple of days.

Does blueyoyo have television content or just movies and music>

Anything else out there to try for television?

For a simple napster like P2P program that won't fill your HD full of spyware, I like soulseek. (Google for the url). Loads quickly, doesn't drag your system like some other p2p aps. I've almost abandonded P2P and go the torrent route these days. I've reached that point in my life where I've basically downloaded every song I could possibly want. Now I'll just download a whole album or collection of music over night via bit torrent, find a couple gems in the slush pile, and move on.
