I'm no authority on this, believe me.

First of all, it's got to be .jpg

I have a free photobucket account that I use. Set up an account there and download your picture onto that site. Back here, copy the URL from photobucket.com and and put it in between this: [img][/img]

If there's an easier way, I don't know how to do it.

Well, just a bit easier. On photobucket you can copy the 3rd line (img) & just paste it here as is.

thanks for your help guys. sounds a bit too much like hard work tho, especially for a technophobe like me. it seems strange that you can't just transfer a file into a post from your pc - is this because it would take up too much room on dave's??? i'm really not very bright yer know! Its really very simple to do (I'm a techno bozo too).

Go to photobucket.com & set up a free account. It will prompt you to upload photos, hit "browse," & the photos on your pc will pop up. Click any you'd like to share & then submit them to your album.

To transfer a picture to daves, copy the information on the img line under it & paste it in your message here. Presto.

(What I'd like to know though is how you guys upload multiple images in a message.)
