Internet banking system hacked
The investigators said the two high school dropouts withdrew 50 million won from a 41-year-old woman's account May 5 using hacking software that is easily available on Internet file-sharing services.

The hacking program electronically spies on the user's computer, capturing passwords and security code numbers.

Lee also stole items and money used for online games through the program, the police said. Police advised Internet users to be careful about downloading unfamiliar programs and to install protection programs such as "firewall" and "nprotect," provided by the banks' Web sites.
