What do you think? Seems to me Immigration could go on Worknplay, Englis Spectrum or even Dave's and find out a lot about us waegookins, especially the ones among us looking for PT work, illegals, privates, and so on.

If I talk about privates on Dave's, am I asking for it, or am I just being paranoid? NOTE: I'm not doing any illegal work, Mr Immigration man, if you're reading this.

How do you think Immigration is going about their supposed 'crackdown'? Are they just kinda going around to hagwons aimlessly? Do people tip them off about waygookins working illegally in hagwons, apartment buildings, or coffee shops? Are there people who are ratting illegals out and/or getting a reward for ratting? Are Immigration officials sifting through stacks of customs forms people hand in at Incheon?

I have no idea what they're upto and how they're going to go about achieving their "redemption" in the media, as was posted in another thread. What's your take?

immigration can flush out illegals by:

placing bogus job ads
lifting names off of message boards where people talk about part-time work
tipping off apartment guards
tip off from other academy workers (bus drivers etc,)

If you are in area where you don't see many whities then your movements are relatively easy to track. Immigration won't catch everyone but they want to catch enough to make us aware that there is a chance of getting caught. kind of the eye of power type thing.
