Contract stuff comes & goes; it is nice to be able to compare contracts from time to time.
Before reading below, be aware that these are conditions for CERTIFIED TEACHERS WITH EXPERIENCE. Also, I can vouch for the fact that there is no nationality bias/racism/gender/agism issues with this particular school.
Why, oh why, can't they ALL be like this???
(contact/identifying info has been taken out, as this is NOT a job posting/offer.)

Soooooooo, what do you think? Questions? Comments? Esp if you are a certified teacher, what do you think in comparison with your home-country situation?
As for me, having taught in Texas public schools for a comparison, there IS no comparison - based upon class sizes, work load, red tape/paperwork, salary, etc. It's far & away a better situation. Maybe, only comparing overall benefits is lacking, but the 2x salary and practically no taxes has a lot to do with balancing that part out. |

Not bad compared to the general hagwon gig but if I was a qualified(BEd) with 3 years age appropriate teaching experience, I wouldn't be jumping up and down over this job. (I might still take it, but I wouldn't be giggling about it)

That doesn't say qualified(BEd) teachers

But overall like I said it is better than the other hagwon gigs. |
