Hey!
A friend of mine has been contacted by this place and may be offered a job with them. Seems pretty sweet... All she knows is that it is on the west coast somewhere.
Anyone have any experiences with this place? Good, bad, indifferent?

Any info much appreciated !

freddie

I worked there a few years ago. It is about 20 minutes outside Seosan which is a city of 100,000. The University is isolated with a few houses, businesses and rental units for students. The job was easy, do your own thing, no one bothered me but you are in seclusion if you live near the Univ. Even Seosan is pretty boring.

Well, things have changed since you were there, so I do agree with the quote.
I'm on my 3rd year at the university, and I know that before I was hired there were 3 foreign English instructors at the university. Now, when I arrived I was one of 7 new teachers, which brought the total to 8 on campus, and 1 at Academia; used for teaching the flight attendants, who also take classes on campus.
So, as "isolated" as it is, we only work 4 days a week, and Seoul is no more than 70 minutes from Sadang Stattion, and 90 minutes from Nambu Terminal.
