Where the heck am I? Feeling very disorientated in South Korea at the moment. Can't seem to get hold of any friends back home and keep getting dizzy spells. |

When did you get here? Where are you living/working? Did you know anyone already living here before you came? Have you made any friends since arriving?
I feel for you. I have family here, so the transition was pretty easy for me way back when. I've always admired people who come without having any connections already in place, and it seems to me they're the majority.
I hope things start looking up for you. |

Where are you? Beats me. You didn't enable Dave's video feature (I don't think you've been registered long enough for that, yet) so I can't tell.
If the dizzy spells continue, you might want to send me all your money see a doctor. Dizzy spells could be symptomatic of a variety of illnesses; some serious, some not so much. When in doubt, the best thing to do is send me all your money visit a doctor. |

Dizzy spells are often caused by inner ear problems... This could have been triggered by the long flight over. I would recommend seeing an ENT (in Korean, 이비인후과 -ee-bee-in-hoo-kwah). They can check, and if you do have an inner ear problem, they will do a procedure where they blow lots of air into your ears. It will make you super dizzy (but you'll be lying down and they'll be asking you questions to make sure you're okay) and then, hopefully, it will have shaken the bones of your inner ear back in place. If not, you can always do a follow-up of the same procedure. I had this done in the States, but there is probably something similar here...
As for your friends, it will be hard to keep in touch with the difference in time zones, but after a while, it gets easier ^.^ Don't worry and good luck with everything! |

depending on where you flew in from, there could be a considerable time difference and they're just all sleeping when you call
the dizzy spells do sound like something from the flight - or could be serious dehydration - try drinking a LOT of water and see if that helps. |

Or he could just turn on the GPS location feature in Dave's. You don't need to be registered as long to get that feature activated. |

thank you saying in words the EXACT way i felt my first week here, dizzy spells and all. (the dizziness i believe was from the long plane ride. after being on a plane for so long, i always felt like i was still moving. i would even get slight motion sickness.) |

yeah, I felt like that my first flight over - flew cross-country U.S. first then overseas, was extraordinarily long - then a 4 hour bus immediately after the plane!! it was intense, for sure.
just sleep a while - and again, drink lots of water, said to be the best thing for jet lag, that and sleep |

You might have shifted to a parallel universe where your natural biological frequency is out of sync. |

Seems to me that the OP was taking a piss. It's funny to see so much advice coming out on how to deal with his/her issues. If not, then there is some useful advice here. |

Yeah I thought that was obvious. Especially with a handle like "tintinitis". |
