all of a sudden my computer is telling me that it's set for region 1, so i can't play korean dvd's. i've tried with three different players. for two of them, i can't find the place to change regions, and for window's media player, it told me that i'm only allowed to change the region a certain number of times, and i've exceeded that.
i thought the reason for having a computer to play dvds was so that you could skip through all the region bullsh1t.
does anyone know how i can get around this? thanks. |

1. Keep trying different players.
2. Change your location under settings to a region 1 location. |

I think a computer DVD player can be changed about six times. Depending on your model you might be able to find a hack that flashes the drive's rom and resets it. You can also download Videolan which will let you watch any CD regardless of region:
