Right at the beginning the offer is usually 2 million. If you think they really want or maybe need you, do you ask for more, say 2.2 ? Especially if you have the experience etc.. to be above average? |

supply and demand. of course i would ask for more money. but the more you get the more is expected from you... |

Don't necessarily drop a job because they won't give you more money. Conditions and peace of mind count for more. If there are a lot of happy 2nd or 3rd contract teachers, that is defienatly a good sign. |
