What I learned about KOREA on my trip to JAPAN. (PART 2)

In all the major cities of Japan they have an international office. It's a spacious place where foreigners can browse books, check out job listings, get hospital or service info, learn Japanese or find out about housing.

Tutoring, by the way, is LEGAL in Japan. What struck me, is the availability and economically of having an ENGLISH tutor in Japan. How much is a tutor? 20k to 30k and hour. Plus you can browse through a wide selection of different tutors with different skills.

Compare that to Korea. My doctor asked me to tutor his son. "Can't do it" I said. Tried four other people. No luck. Even at 50k an hour, I couldn't find someone. Why is this? Simple, because Koreans pass a law that makes tutoring scares and raises the price. The people who come out ahead are the foreigners and those lucky and rich enough to spend a year in Canada.
