...and someone should be coming down hard on them. Nothing but a well organized bunch of filthy, old pedos protecting their jail-bait turf under the guise of religion.
But one way or another isn't this always the case with these male-led cults. |

No offense to the Mormons out there, but as someone who was born and raised in the Catholic church, I never really thought of Mormons as 'Christians'. I hate to say it, but I think there are probably a lot of other Christians out there that would agree with me. But then again, I've been wrong before. |

No, you're right. I've never considered Mormons to be Christians either. And this isn't even a case of mainstream Mormons. This is more like a sect's sect's sex issue. |

Good, then you don't mind being wrong--yet again. The particular church involved is incorporated with the name Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They do not claim to be Mormons. And the Associated Press style guide, the thing newsies are supposed to be following, reserves the term Mormon for that big ol' group headquartered in Salt Lake City, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
You and flakfizer, thankfully, aren't the judges of whether the FLDS or the LDS happen to be Christians. Both churches revere Jesus Christ. That would tend to put them in the Christian camp. |

you would be wrong.
Mormons are not part of the traditional Christianity. While they may be a mainstream religion they are most definitely not Christians. |

Perhaps you should try knowing what you're talking about sometime. "Mainstream Christianity" isn't the only flavor of Christianity on the planet. And the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is most certainly Christian {bolding mine}. Feel free to peruse the first Article of Faith.

Ah, so you can't explain it without making up a new term.

Mormons are not Christians.
They follow the Arian heresy that was condemned at the First Council of Nicea in 325 ad. |

Bro,
I hate to tell you...Mormons aren't Christians.
Mormons are "below average intellect."
You are welcome. |
I know of a word that does mean that but you have an extra letter. |

Christianity is more than just claiming stake on the name Jesus Christ to attempt to sound more mainstream.
Again, I really don't mean to offend Mormons. I met a lot of Mormons in the time I spent in Arizona and even though they were a little strange they were very nice people. Don't think I'd trust them to babysit for me or anything, but they were nice.
Frankly, I've always felt that the Mormons were borderline cultish. And I just don't trust anyone that isn't even a little hypocritical in their beliefs. |
