Hello all,
I will be coming to South Korea at the end of June to teach in a school in Bundang. Does anyone know, are running shoes cheaper to buy there than they are in the US? Can I get Asics there? I don't know if I should get some before I leave or just wait until I get there.

Oh, also, I wear a 7 1/2 so I'm hoping I'll be able to find my size.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Depends on how much space you have in your suitcase really. 71/2 is at the upper range of available shoe sizes here, and sneakers are about the same price as at home. Don't know if I've ever seen Asics though

7.5 for woman perhaps. I had no problem getting shoes in Korea and I wear a size 11.

And yeah, athletic shoes are nearly the same price, not much difference. I'd suggest just getting them in Korea to save yourself the hassle of packing an extra pair of shoes.

Yes, you can buy em here, might want to save on the luggage space for now and just get em here.

I am a women's 8.5-9, and have had no problems....not a popular size here.

Also, Asics are EVERYWHERE....my students love em....and they have more designs here too I think.

asics sizing is different here. i wear a size 9 women's and they don't make my size. go figure. i wrote them an angry email about it, but they still haven't written me back. buy your shoes at home.

What store can I buy them at in Korea?
