|
|
Has anyone heard about the new SkatePark that got put in new to DunSan Dong, in the Big park between the Gov't Buildings?
I am thinking of heading up there to check it out on Sunday, and wondered if anyone else had a skateboard (or Rollerblades) and wanted to check it out and get some beers.
Still up in the air whether coming up at all, but, from what I hear, the park is a bomb ass spot that is not getting used at all, so, could end up turning it into a pretty sweet spot for future mid-afternoon drinking Parties.
Drop a note if you know which park I am talking about. Dopeness for sure.

Nice! I'm in Suwon and there are two good skateparks here. Daejon is only about 1 1/2 south so maybe I'll go there and check it out sometime. Suwon is definitely a good place for skateboarding tho...lots of skaters and a good scene. |

Your position is in DunsanDong? I'm jealous. That's all. |

they're gonna have a pool there!!!!? or are you just spectulating? could you post some pics when you get them, I'll be sure to post some of the parks up here. There isn't a single pool anywhere in Korea for skating so if Daejon gets one I might be there every weekend. |

From what I wasw told, there IS a pool.
I will find out tonight for sure, and leave a reply. It's in my old neoghborhood (in cheongju now), but I am very tempted to head up and check it out this weekend. I need a few new scars to remind me I am alive.

The word my friend used was a Bowl, and I associate a bowl with a pool, but in fact, what they got hooked up there is a Wooden Bowl, above ground, and looking pretty dangerous by what she said. 'Danger is my 3rd Middle Name'.
Half Pipes, Fun Box's, Rails, the whole nine. All enclosed in by a fence I guess, but fully accessible 24/7.
If anyone is in the area, thinking of checking this out on Sunday. There is also a vegan restaurant in Dunsan Dong that serves that Faux Meat, Setian, style food. It's an all you can eat Buffet style for Man Won, and the lady who runs the place is in love with me. Good Memories.
If I get up, I'll post some pics. Also, Daejeon has an Alien Workshop Skateshop near downtown might try to track down again. I always have trouble finding that damn place.
