Any movie star sightings?

Ok, I want to teach English and I also want to meet the Rich and Famous.

I met one guy who was in this one drama, I don't know his name, nor the name of the drama. It was popular a year or two ago apparently. Some historical fantasy thing with bad CGI. Oh yeah, I also met his wife, who was not his wife at the time, but was also in the drama. They met during the filming and got married later on. We got very drunk and sang Christmas tunes together at a birthday/Christmas party.

I met Joe Son in Hondae a few years ago. He fought in the UFC and had a small roll in one of the Austin Powers movies. It was pretty sad. He told me he had been living in a van and some friends loaned him money to go to Korea and Japan to try and get into prowrestling.

My cousin's actually a celebrity now. He's in the group 'No Brain'. He started underground with his group but I think they've grown to be pretty big nowadays. I haven't met him yet since I've come to Korea but the plan is to have a family gathering sometime in the next month.

- a lot of those move and M/V shoots were near my house (경복궁 area)
- the gym was famous for having celebrities work out there (the California Fitness center in Myeong-dong). It's no longer there, and I hear the celebs have moved to the Apku branch.
- the only ones who spoke any English were 김혜수, 이나영, 박중훈, and J.
- I needed to speak Japanese to 정선희 and 조혜련.

- coolest of the bunch: 구준엽, who told his bodyguard to back off so he could talk to me
- hottest: toss-up between 최정원 and 이나영
- least friendly: 서지영, stuck up rich girl princess
- funniest: 박중훈 and 조혜련

I ran smack into some Korean actress who was doing a public appearence at COEX. I was rounding a corner and bang, there she was (great security she has huh?). I couldn't tell you who she was and honestly I couldn't care. She was rather short and then I saw the mobs of people who were trying to snap pics being curtailed by her security team.

Mostly soccer players. Of note I had a few beers with Ahn Jung Hwan in Busan last year. He's the guy who scored the goal to knock Italy out of the World Cup in 2002.
