WEEKEND TESOL Certificate in cities across Canada may be the answer!

Our intensive 20-hour training program enables you to start teaching abroad in just 2 days. We have job placement assistance for immediate jobs in Korea, China, Taiwan and Mexico available for our graduates.

I have noticed this ad and find it to be somewhat misleading.

Just how accepted is a 20 hour 2 day course?

Most TESOL CELTA type courses worth anything are at least 120 hours. I also notice they dont mention that you need a degree to teach in Korea.

What do you think? Are they just a cash grab company that is offering something that is not worthwhile? Or are they a entrepreneurial company filling a niche?

I also shudder when I read the job placement assistence....which I interpret as we have some recruiters willing to sell you to the highest bidder.
