Can someone tell me a website where I can get some free kids books that aren't copyrighted. They have to be very simple and preferably with pictures (ie. suitable for elementary school kids). I'd really, really appreciate any help with this thankyou. |

I have found some books, (just do an internet search for a fairy tale), but often the vocab. is too advanced for esl kids so I just print off the pictures and write my own words, takes about 20 minutes for a simple story. There are often lesson plans and crafts posted with stories as well. |

I'm just rattling off the top of my head here and can't remember the name of the particular series I'm thinking of, but I've seen quite a few education books here that permit photocopying... something like paying for the book pays for a licence to copy it. |

Lemongirl's right, too - copyright law does exist in Korea, but it's rarely enforced. To the OP - I wouldn't worry about it. Half my university students are using textbooks they had copied and bound at the local print shop for next to nothing.
See you at the CNN Hof. |
