It's a hypothetical statement to illustrate a point- you of all people should know that I have no friends whatsoever regardless of skin colour, age, ethnicity, or sexual orientation, or location. |

A few months ago some git on another site put up some pix of Korean women drinking and whooping it up with some foreigners. In a discussion thread some guy said "Korean girls are easy" and "Korea is a money machine". (or things to that effect)
Some Korean read the site and spread the word on the internet. Outrage ensued. Then SBS put on a program about foreigners in Korea. Not good coverage.
Immigration does crack downs from time to time. This time they seem more serious. The effort seems mainly aimed to reduce the number of illegal teachers.
I haven't read any posts from legal teachers complaining of a bad situation because of the crackdown. As long as you are legal, it shouldn't affect you except insofar as Koreans have a lower opinion of waygookin teachers. |
