Have you provided English Language Immersion or home stays for Asian ESL students in your home country?
What have you charged for your teaching services? Ive heard that the money could be very good for this kind of service, though it seems like it could be very intensive and it would be difficult to get needed rest/brakes during assignments. It seems that it could also be challenging to keep expenses down while entertaining and teaching students.
If you have experience with this I'd love to hear
Thanks

We've hosted students on 3 separate occasions. I think we got around $200 per week but they were only 3 weeks stays each.
The students went to the local high-school and attended english classes with other local students, and depending on their ability as to which age group they joined. In the evenings we chatted to the students and tried to learn a few phrases in their language.... it was a lot of fun! In the weekends we took them to some nearby attractions.
They always cried whern they had to leave! I wish thats how my homestay had been when i forst came to Korea!! |
