not sure if this has been reported...but i was in the local carrefour and picked up old el paso soft and hard tacos packages....

They're at the Nowon Carrefour too. Hard and soft shell. A bit pricey. And they're in the "australian" food section. Tacos?

I've been eyeing the soft ones with designs to use fajita spices in em, but I need a decent sub for sour cream b4 i spend me cash. I thought natural yoghurt?

Carrefour also sells plain yogurt. It's a blue container labeled Denmark Yogurt. A good sub for sour cream.

In the Sanbong Costco Deli they have some fantastic chicken enchiladas, they're like two super-huge oversized chicken enchiladas, the only real difference between these and USA enchiladas is that they use flour tortillas, but I'd rate them an 8.5 and I'm from El Paso, Texas, the Mexican food capital of the world. So that's a high rating. They're drenched in cheese and red sauce and the chicken is so plentiful - really nice. Cost is about 17,000 won and well worth it. Me and my wife eat about two-three meals from it. Also, nothing in Korea can beat the Costco apple pies (about 8,000 won for one of the best apples pies you had in your life, bar none).

You've obviously never been anywhere in New Mexico. Texas doesn't know s*it about Mexican food. Where do you eat? Chili's Tacos?

Yeah, they are a bit pricey but keep checking, perhaps they won't sell like hotcakes, and might end up being marked down. I quite enjoy them and bought six boxes. There isn't a lot of hot sauce in them IMO. It's cool the soft tacos can be kept fresh in their bag with the oxygen absorber packet. The directions say microwave, since the soft tacos aren't entirely cooked yet. Without a microwave I just 'baked' them a bit in a frying pan, browning them a little. Very tasty. And spicy. That spice packet mixed with the meat in the pan let's you know you're in Mexico. Or am I?

If you want to make an alternative sour cream........just mix natural or plain yoghurt and cream.....although buying the cream is quite expensive, but you can freeze it.

It makes a pretty good sour cream to me...and I'm hard to please.
