I posted this before but it got accidentally deleted.
I was walking to an exit subway at Hapjeong to meet my BF for lunch and passed a random Korean guy. He turned around and followed me out but I didn't think much of it...maybe he had gone the wrong way. As I was going up the stairs i heard 'pssst'...'psst' and some noises. I turned around the the same diphole was half a flight of stairs behind me, pants around the ankles with his *%+* completely out, j*r*ing it while looking at me.
I screamed bloody murder and was SO scared but since this is THE THIRD TIME this has happened my fright instantly changed to RAGE and I screamed, "MOTHER****ER!!! IM GOING TO F***ING KILL YOU!!! and ran after him. Pretty bad idea, considering that although Korean, he would have completely overpowered me. Unfortunately (fortunately??) I didn't catch him.
The point is this. I have heard of this happening a lot here but it gets dismissed as a 'boys will be boys' or 'this happenes all over every country in the world.' Neither of these things are true...I have lived in MANY places, places considered much more dangerous than Seoul and this has NEVER EVER EVER happened to me anywhere but here...where it has happened three times...in under two years.
It makes me feel very angry, disgusted and helpless...by both the a******s that perpetrate this and the manner that it seems to be dismissed.... if by some chance I could harm the perv that will eventually do this to me again, I would be the one in trouble, as I am a foreigner and a woman...double whammy....

I thought this thread was deliberately deleted because some poster yesterday started calling all us foreign women ugly heffers and couldn't understand why Korean men would be so desperate as to flash us "ugly heffers"? 
Maybe it was deleted to stop an all-out flame war?

This will come across sounding wrong but  
Man you must be hot Hot HOT  To drive some poor innocent Korean man to such extremes.
My advice is invest in a bb pistol and next time it happens put Mr Happy out of your misery 
Just out of curiosity is it the neighborhood you are living in? |

pointing and laughing might be the best action. Not sure if I'd have the presence of mind to do that in your situation though.
Grottos- gotta say it, you're an ignoramus. The guy's actions weren't a compliment, and she didn nothing to provoke that behaviur. |

Well, it has happened pretty much everywhere. Junggye-dong, Haggye station, and now Hapjeong. It hasn't happened in my current neighborhood, but it did in my last one. Probably helps that I am not out alone much at all, especially at night. I, like most other ladies here, also get some nasty ass creepy oogles on the subway...maybe it's because I look kinda Russian?
I had some Kgirl come over from the other side of a bar to tell me #1) I was pretty #2) motion to my boyfriend and asked...sooooo you Russian, yes??
I replied... NO! He gets it for FREE!
As far as the shooting goes...my aim is pretty bad so I think I would miss my target by a mile.... Better just aim for the head and guarentee a clean shot.
ugh...i still have the mental images. SO GROSS!!! |

I think maybe you got lucky elsewhere. My little sis and her friend were flashed while they waited for a bus one night in my hometown.
Having said that, I think there are a lot of pervs here, both male and female. If you ever teach adults, bring up the topic and you'll be amazed at what most of them have to say. |

Yeah, I agree they think white chicks are easy, but I have heard of this happened to a lot of Korean girls to. I saw an old ajussi with his hand down his pants right behind this K-girl. He was making all these disgusting noises...but of course she pretended nothing was happening and stared at her shoes, trying to uncomfortably move away (they were in a bus line).
He then moved to my proximity, but luckily I was going the other way. |

it happened to my girlfriend while we were on the way to the airport on the express bus... but the fool didnt realise I was sitting next to her... she told me and just as hey moved across to show his face I pressed mine against the window... he quickly sped off, only to catch him at the lights again... where we reminded him his package was incredibly small, with which he kept reversing out of our view... if I didn't have a plane to catch I would have got off and pull the guy out of the car and made sure he could never use his package again...
absolute freaks... this has happened to my girlfriend more than a few times... oh yeah shes a kgirl |

There's a serial pervert who lurks around the women's bathroom at the Starbucks at Seohyun Station. I've had a couple of run ins with him, and while I'd like to just punch him in the face, I'm pretty sure that since he's older and a lot shorter than me I'd probably wind up being the evil foreign woman who assaulted a poor old man.  |

| It doesn't only happen here...one of my girlfriends back in the states had the same situation happen to her at the beach. She and her friends were the only ones laying out one morning and they spotted a guy with binoculors doing the same thing from a motel balcony... |
