Anyone know of the best freeware to split a vid file?
It's classed as a 'disk image' (no other info, but I think it's just a dvd file because it only seems to open with VLC player). Downloaded as a torrent.
It's 730 mb and Nero won't let me burn it onto a disk.
Any help or hints? Thanks.

Depends what format it's in. Check videohelp.com for a comprehensive guide.

Why not? Did you go into the options..."Advanced features" and change the times? 700MB disks are 80 min. 800 are what.....90? I have 99 minute disks...870MB...just change the numbers and it should work no problem.

When you burn, choose the "disk at once" feature and also be sure that overburning is ticked in the aforementioned options.
