I will be in Ireland this summer and flying out of Dublin. I would like to buy some Jameson and/or Bushmills whiskey and was wondering if the duty free at the airport is the best option. If its not, any other places you recommend?
I don't want to wait till the last minute and then be out of luck. |

The duty free will be cheaper but why buy Jamesons or Bushmills? They are in every duty-free in the world!!
Check out this website for a rundown on Irish whiskey.

Many of the whiskies on this website should be in Dublin airport.
You should be able to get Green Spot or Redbreast. Much more distinctive Irish whiskies. Well worth it.
Actually, could you pick me up a bottle of Redbreast? You would make a thirsty Irishman very happy!!! |

Or some Tullamore Dew? I still think that Jameson's is the best but if want a real taste of Ireland then you should go for the less famous ones. Or try and find some Poitin!! Just try and not get arrested as it's illegal in Ireland now!! |
