Man is it just me or does Lotteria just suck. I find the food repulsive, blehh their bulgogi burbger tastes like crap, the shrimp burger is repulsive. Every time some Korean friends come over they bring Lotteria and I don't have the heart to tell them that Lotteria is disgusting. Not to mention their huge choice of drinks is just a pure piss off. That and they are more expensive then MacDonalds. |

Hasn't this been mentioned like, oh, tons of times before? Why must you rehash the same stuff again and again? |

What do you mean...you don't have the heart to tell the korean friends who bring over food from Lotteria that it sucks! Be up front and tell them the truth!! Be a stand up person!
It does suck! And so does korean Mc D's. And KFC. I don't know if it's because koreans are running it...been "koreanized" or what. |

General rule of thumb for food anywhere in the world....
....If kids like it, it's awful.
And the kids here love Lotteria. |

Do they still have those fries that you put powder (cheese, BBQ, etc.) on and shake up in a bag? Those were good.
Plus they were always reliable for shakes, at least when I lived in Sinchon back in '01. Couldn't say the same for BK.

I sometimes eat the zinger burger at KFC. Tried Lotteria once. Not good, but not so bad I didn't eat it. It's still junk food with grease and fat. And who doesn't like that now and then? |

TAS, you may yet move 'back home' one day.
And if you do, there's a good chance that your wife will continue to use TP at home, despite the abundance of paper towel, boxes of kleenex, etc.
Over the years you may have become completely unaware that you now use TP at the dinner table and/or have a roll sitting on the coffee table...
...unaware, that is, UNTIL YOU HAVE GUESTS OVER AND THEY LOOK AT YOU STRANGELY.
Welcome to my world. |

Heh, the wife does that here. If there's a spill, she'll wipe it up with TP, even though we have paper towels (what they're used for, if anything, I have no idea).
This is a widespread phenomenon; in many cases Koreans, especially the women, prefer to go "ghetto". This means toilet paper at the kitchen table. It means having an air-conditioner but rarely if ever using it. It means having a kitchen table but having company prefer to sit on the floor when they visit. And it means owning a sofa but sitting on the floor in front of it when you watch TV.
Oh, yeah, almost forgot: it also means owning a washer/dryer combo but never using the dryer half, instead hanging up the laundry to dry as per usual.
Welcome to my world.

Lotteria had some pretty good cheese sticks. I remember going there a lot when they had them on sale.
