Wow, thats a nice line up alright. Saw Laurent Garnier a couple of years ago it was off the hook. Dancing and gurning the night away. Happy days.

Shame i'm going back to London in a couple of weeks. Erm...well, probably not!!

woah..good lineup...Saw Garnier live a few times off my face..when the riff from the 'Man with the Red Face' kicks in..damn..
Roy Davis Jr is excellent as is BT..
I wouldnt cross the street to see Bambaataa, but he will draw in the crowds, particularly the Korean hip-hop heads who will be pissed when he plays crap house music all night long..

Goldie will be there on 8/26. Some D&B in Seoul. I hope they keep that up. I miss some good D&B.

Just checked the website and it says Afrika Bambaataa is playing Sat 30 July, while the poster above says Fri 29th...Anyone know which date is right? And map is too small, is there a subway station close to the club?

Are all the DJs techno or something? My favorite DJ is Joey Negro or anyone that plays disco-influenced house.

If you get off at apkujong station, you can get in a cab and go to cine city next to dorsan gongwon (park). It's basically behind cine city down the main street.

Sounds like a great lineup - I wonder who's promoting this, It's a hell of a lot of money putting all these names up. Indeed I hope this club will be able to continue and sustain itself without having to put up big names every week as that can't possibly continue.

Also is the Korean dance market (outside hiphop) knowledgeable enough to go and see these very big names from Europe/US in force? Anyway I hope it all works out as the Korean scene needs a big kick up the backside - hopefully something like this will help push it along.

There seem to be a lot of big clubs opening later this year in gangnam /apgu - which will hopefully change the apgu crowd atmosphere, while keeping hongdae on it's toes - as let's face it, they're pretty complacent at the moment and rather disappointing to boot.
