anyone know if there are limits on the size and weight of boxes to be mailed abroad? i have 2 big boxes i want to haul down to the post office tomorrow morning and i would hate to lug them back. i'm also too lazy to go there first to check myself.
also, someone told me you can only mail stuff by air and not surface. can this be true? |

I suggest you get off your lazy butt and go to the post office first. There are size, shape and weight limits on boxes sent. They have regulation size boxes for cheap. Buy as many as you need to hold what you are sending, ask at the counter what the weight limits are for the size boxes you buy, go home, re-pack and haul your stuff down and mail it.
No, it isn't true that you can't send surface mail. It's slower and cheaper. Just be sure to tell the postal clerk which you want. |
