Who's in Bucheon? The 4th of July is on a monday. Who wants to have a little celebration that night? I do, if we can get a decent group together. I have heard that the Bavarian near Bucheon station makes their own beer. I've also heard that there is a place called Burger Buddy that makes good burgers and has interesting soju concoctions. Very Happy Are either of those good places to meet? Let's meet the neighbors, shall we?

Any thoughts? Suggestions? Non-Americans are welcome, too. Wink The more, the merrier.

I'll come if I can wear my airborne beret, chant "USA! USA! USA!" all night and aim fireworks at the kiwi.

We havent decided on the location yet. I want suggestions. I've never visited the Burger Buddy myself, but it sounded good to me. Very Happy I'll make sure to get out the specific time and directions later after we've discussed it.

I'm in! I finish work at 9:05 on Mondays and I can reasonably get to most places in Seoul by 10:30. (I'm in Beomgye neighborhood of Anyang city). I don't know the geography yet so I have no idea where is this Bucheon place. But I'll try to make it wherever you decide.

Bucheon is on the #1 line (dark purple) between Seoul and Incheon. You'll have to look at a map. I dont know how late this will be going on. It is a Monday night afterall Wink And I teach public school. But there will probably be plenty of late nighters partying into the wee hours of the morning. True patriots. hehe. Cool

I'm not American, but I will gladly hold the kiwi down with my boot while you shoot fireworks at his head. Laughing

Hey the kiwi is a chick!!!!! And I was born on Guy Fawkes Night. The biggest firecracker night.....Born with a bang.....so bring it on!!!!

The food is good at the burger buddy but it's a very small restaurant...maybe you should try and move it into the street outfront...get some tables set up.

What?! I'm not going to all the trouble of setting up tables. It has to be an establishment that has room for a group, wouldnt you agree? Where would you suggest if Burger Buddy is a no?

Does the US embassy ever hold a celebration like the Canadian does?

How about other countries?
