I've been offered a position with YBM, particularly their ECC school in Nowon-gu. The school is called Sangye. Has anyone ever taught there before? I feel pretty comfortable with YBM from my research and friends who taught with them in the past. I've heard there are a lot of Canadians in Nowon-gu...any insight? Also, does anyone have any recommendations on where to take good (inexpensive is a plus too!) Korean lessons? Thanks. |

Nowon is okay. Advantage: less people, more trees. You can actually go for a jog around here. There's a Carrefour, Lottemart. The downside is its pretty remote from the fun stuff. Not many people speak English. It's mostly middle and lower middle class people and their kids. Not much eye candy. |
