I just rented a movie called "The Dreamers", quite a piece of sh!t actually, but the movie breached the censors' ban on nudity. Same with "Kinsey." Has there been a change of ideas in the hermit state?

I wouldn't mind watching Kinsey. Is it good?

Yeah, it is. I studied some of his research in a sexuality class in college and what he was doing at the time was pretty controversial, especially when you consider the fact that he was doing it in the day and age of J. Edgar Hoover. You'll understand that if you see the movie. I just thought that full frontal nudity was a no-no in Korea, but after seeing Sideways, The Dreamers, and Kinsey, I'm wondering if things have changed.

I don't remember the frontal nudity in 'Sideways'.

Anyway, I think either the rules have changed, or it's just too much of a bother having 'Korea Only' versions of DVDs (or did you watch it on video tape?).

Actually, scratch that last part, because I remember now that the video tape I watched of '28 Days Later' a while back was also unedited (there's a scene that shows Cillian Murphy's bozack when he wakes up from his coma).

Yeah! Now only if we could get an uncensored version of 'Boogie Nights' on DVD -- the complete Criterion Collection version, with the John Holmes documentary and the prosthetic penis' "audition".

I want a prothsetic *beep* too. Crying or Very sad

Too big for the region already really, but think what a great conversation piece it would make on the mantlepiece!! Very Happy

Now my question is would they edit say, frontal nudity scenes of starving Jews in Schindlers List?
