for those going back to North America (Canada or America) this summer, have you had much luck getting tickets for a decent price. From what I've seen, the prices are through the roof. Best my gf could find using a travel agent was $1,600 roundtrip (west coast in the states). Checked some online sites and same tickets were over $2000. Anyone out there had much success? |

1.5 Mil RT to Edmonton, booked in April. One explanation for these high ticket prices is, as usual, Air Canada's greed, but also problems with American student visas. A lot of Koreans are apparently giving up on American schools for their kids this summer, and are sending them to Canada.
If I had time to spare and no ticket, I would buy an American ticket and then take a connector flight or a bus to Canada. LA or Chicago might not be so hard to get to.

2.1 return to St. Johns. Coulda gotten cheaper I suppose, but only one stopover almost makes it worth it. |

I need to fly from Incheon to Paris morning of Friday 15 July have one meeting late afternoon and return that evening.
It looks like 3 million - I know it's unusual but does anybody have any ideas for a cheaper source? |

My husband was just here in Nova Scotia for one week, he paid about $2000 for a return ticket. He's coming again in October so far the cheapest flight is about $2300. If anyone knows a good travel agency there with better rates.....please let me know... |
