http://www.kingdomofloathing.com

A nerd's wonderland. Rife with references to They Might Be Giants and Homestar Runner, it's an RPG for the Post-Modern Age. You can play as a Seal-Clubber, a Disco Bandit, or a Sauceror, just for starters. You battle Filthy Hippies, Ninja Snowmen, and Evil Clowns.

I'm blessed with an overabundance of office hours, so I happily while them away mixing deluxe co*cktails or collecting disembodied brains. The puzzles are often fiendish, but very rewarding, and the stick-figures that pass as graphics make the experience uber-friendly.

Just thought I'd share the love.

Sounds great, I've been looking for something to replace www.banja.com and this might be it.

There's always some "down-time" which happens between around 12:30 and 1:00 p.m., but it doesn't always last very long. Just check back in a bit.

The lag is sometimes annoying, but since many of us are on the other side of the world, it's easy to avoid by playing in the evening, Korea-time.

My only complaint is that it's not possible to play indefinitely... there are a set number of "adventures" for the day. After a while, it gets easier to get more adventures, but I still keep an eye on the clock for when another set of turns comes my way. I start jonesing if the nightly maintenance takes to long.

If that's not a ringing endorsement for the game, I sure don't know what is.

Check out banja.com; I don't think they make any new episodes, but what you will find there will blow your mind.

I've tried to register, but they don't send me what I need to activate my account. I can request a password reminder, but I can't log in with what they give me. I've tried with another username, and it's the same story. Crying or Very sad
