A well-made lasagna is rarer than gold in this part of the world and, on some days, more valuable.

Today I'd gladly open up my bank book for some of it if it's first-rate quality.

The lasagna in Coex is great. After that,my favourite dish is either gomondoro(like veal cutlet with cheese) or sam gha tang.

I like fish, and chicken. One of the best money-value meals I ever had was in Taipei at a "teppanyaki" restaurant, where they cook it on the metal counter in front of you. Salmon, chicken, rice etc... cost about $6. I ate that a lot and loved it every time. Then again Thialnd and Vietnam offer some fine grub for under $5. At home I like to cook salmon, maybe with cod too, and some veggies. Man, I could eat that 5 times a week and never tire of it, but I like to keep it nearer to once or twice a week perhaps for more pleasure! Damn, thread is making me hungry!

Salmon is not cheap but all told it still comes out to maybe 5000 or 6000 won for a decent meal at home.

And almost any Mexican food... too bad options are rather limited here.

My favorite meal(s)

1) - Fresh rainbow trout baked with onions and a large fresh peach. Meal prepared by me and purchased at Pike Street Market, Seattle

2) - Cheese ramon on a cold day

3) - Breakfast of baloney sandwich on white and black coffee courtesy of the Milwaukee Metropolitan Jail food service staff.
