<<this is from my friends annie and linda who kickass. their previous benefit shows were: january, tsunami relief; march, korean adoptees; june, burma action collective.PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD: MWTV IS SURVIVING ON FUMES>>

hi all,

Hope you're holding up better in the heat than I am. I've taken to
living inside the freezer. Kidding. But not much.

Here's info about the latest benefit party - this time all the
proceeds are going to support Migrant Worker TV, an independent,
migrant worker-produced TV program started in response to distorted
portrayals in the mainstream Korean media. Hope you can make it out.

thanks!
Annie

About Migrant Worker Television:
Launched April 16 of this year, Migrant Worker Television began as a
discussion after a famous Korean entertainer created a comedic
impression of a migrant worker in Korea that was far from realistic.
"We need our own voices in the media," migrant worker activists
realized, and with the help of Korean friends created a TV program
that showcases the lives and struggles of migrant workers living in
Korea.
