|
|
Hi again to all.
I'm wondering how long services like UPS, DHL, FEDEX etc... take coming from Korea? Somebody once told me that it depends on the time of year?? What difference would that even make?
I'm supposed to get myself a visa from Washington D.C. (which is always chaotic especially when on "code orange") within the next week and I'm still waiting on that letter. Do I really have time for this?

During the school vacation times (Winter and Summer). The shpping people get busy. Also around Christmas time is usually a busy time, also.
To answer your question, it usually takes 7~10 days but up to 14 days is also common, by regular delivery.
You can get in as little as 3~5 days if you pay for the express mail option
Best of luck,

FedEx, at any Kinko's and at several locations around town, takes 24 hrs. from here to NA. Costs about $25.00 to NA West Coast. |

It depends on how they sent it. Hopefully they were smart and sent it by express service. I always remember that stuff as being stressful. They send you the stuff(Certificate of Visa Issuance and air ticket) and then you have to send your application package to the embassy/consulate/whatever to have it processed. Meanwhile, you're trying to say good-bye to friends and finish tying up loose ends while wondering if the mail will arrive on time for you to get your flight. However, it has always seemed to work out for me. In Canada, it even depends on time of day, at least where I live, as Canada Post's Purolator service has daily deadlines. |

Thanks
I know it will eventually work out but feeling rushed before leaving your home country is never a good thing.
I appreciate the replies! |
