|
|
Yesterday my computer at school started acting up.
Its fine for about an hour (varies can bork at start up or last longer) after this time it either
a. Hangs inet explorer
b. Gives the blue screen of death (in korean too!)
c. Stops sending a picture to the monitor
I reset but sure enough it does it more and more as time goes by.
Any suggestion as to what this is?

Tell your boss and get a new one.
If you must fix it, let's assume it's Windows XP and let's assume that you can read and understand enough Korean to get around in there.
Could be heat, could be power, probably a virus of some kind. Without the BSOD message, it's a bit tough.
What kind of software do you run as far as AV/anti-spyware/adware/malware goes? |

Your school should probably have someone in charge of taking care of the computers, find out who and mention it to them.
My first guess would be a virus, just because they're so common on Korean school networks. |
