there's a rad P,B&J (party, benefit and jam) gig going on in hongdae this saturday night, july 9...didn't know if i should post it here or in current events (where i ended up posting it.)

they're putting on a benefit show for Migrant Worker TV (migrant worker news by and for MWs, totally NGO and f*** awesome www.mwtv.or.kr )

<<p,b&j are a 2 womin collective that puts on blistering gigs for equally awesome causes www.manja.net/benefit.html

in all my years of women studies, i've never seen anyone spell women like that.

wymmin, wimmyn, lesbian, wymmyn, but never womin; it sounds wrong.

thanks! but that looks even weirder to me...guess i'll try to stick to plurals.

and check out the show it you can. it's going to be really good...if you like didjeridoo, amber from anokha really rocks it - i've never seen anyone do what she can do with it. their music is amazing, kind of minimalist, spoken wordy, mostly just drums and didjeridoo but they do some other instruments too.

and the stop crackdown band is awesome too. they've been around for a few years.
haven't heard the other bands though.
