In his administration, more than any other
during the past three quarters of a century,
the rich have gotten richer, the poor have
gotten poorer, and the middle class has shrunk.
America is currently an oligopoly run not only by,
but for, the wealthy class.
[And the mega-wealthy, junkie Great Bloviator has so successly brainwashed many on this forum that they cry out, "Harder, faster, deeper. It feels soooo good" as they continue to get s-rewed. I can hardly wait to hear the Great Bloviator's take on the Oligarch-in-chief described in this article. ]

Needless to say, I really had my hopes up when I opened your thread but was a little disappointed that I didn't get the Penthouse letter I was expecting... |

While he may be a very divisive president, as sites like the one the OP linked to suggest, I find it hard to believe that "the worst US president ever" would be voted in to office again after a first term. One can say, "Well, he didn't really win the election(s)!" I personally don't buy that at all, but, even if one did, how would one explain the success of the Republican party as a whole?
I would say, at least until the last election, a majority of voters felt like he was doing something right.
Of course, history may prove me wrong. But I rather suspect that the person thought of as "the worst US president ever" will be colored by either the red lenses or the blue lenses of the beholder. If there were any person that could get votes from both sides of the ideological divide, I would imagine it to be a "one hit wonder". |

Now, now. Ripping up our Bill of Rights the first time some terrorist blows up a bus in England is *not* a rational reaction. Something like the Patriot Act should be carefully considered, not rushed through the legislature by popular demand. The correct response is to find and punish those responsible, maybe pre-emptively stop future attacks, but NOT to punish ourselves, and give the bad guys what they want. |

I don't think the Patriot act rips up our bill of rights. For the most part it just gives the govt the same powers against terrorists that it already has when dealing with organized crime.
Just maybe the Patroit act has made the US harder to hit. I mean Al Qaida would much rather hit the US than England. Yet they hit England and Spain . It was considered and congress voted for it , and it will make it though congress again. |

Why would you make such a post and degrade the valid points some of us try to make on here?
People such as myself, who hope to make valid arguments for causes we believe in, are labeled along with the far-left cooks like you who post nonsense like this.
Our message is muddied by this kind of garbage. This forum is full of it and on both sides. I could pick on the other side (rightwing) but I want us to clean up ourselves first. And that means igotthisguitar needs to either get a brain or stop posting. The Bobster guy isn't far off from igotthisguitar. Really, guys.
If you want guidance, pay attention to Mithrades. I love that man. I want that man. I. Um. I better stop there for now before I get too excited. |

Bucheon Bum and I seem to agree on just about everything too. One other poster I like a lot is hypnotist but I haven't seen him for a while. |

A lot of librarians in America disagree. the latest I hear is a that a lot of small libraries in the US are just destroying records of who checked out which books simply so they don't have anything like that to hand over to the Homeland security people when they come knockin'.

You haven't read much of either of our posts if you think that. Just because I don't take the time to argue with someone doesn't mean I agree with everything that person says. It probably means there are others I disagree with more.
Mithridates is cool. I had galbi with him once, and even though he's a little bit cute, I ain't gonna leave my girlfriend so I can pine for him. I don't think he'll be offended by that.
Oh, yeah, obligatgory one-sentence nod to the actual topic of the thread :
Yes. Geo W Bush is the absolute worst president we have ever had. |

While I don't agree with Bob on a number of things, I'd hardly say he is in the same league as igotthisguitar, who is in a league of his own. Well ok, RSR comes close. |

RSR mainly posts stuff he finds from elsewhere on the web, and then he sits back and goes about his life while the rest of us tear at each other tooth and nail over the opinions those other people have provided.
igotthisguitar is a mirror-world verson of Real Reality, but his sources are wierdo-fringe rather than mainstream Korean media.
Bucheon Bum is one of the handful of guys I seldom agree with that I nevertheless respect because he teaches me something I didn't know before from time time - not much more valuable that, really, comes down to it - and there are a few others I don't see enough around here lately (kangnamdragon comes to mind) who fall in that category, as does Kuros and one or two more.
A few too many bigots around for my taste lately, not only wannago and The Urban Myth, but most recently bigverne and Leslie Cheswick. In My Very Humble Opinion, rabid animals such as these need to be put down as quickly as possible, with little compunction about humane methods, as they are a severe threat to the larger body of humanity.
Gollum/Derrek deserves a place in this cabal, but most people find him/them as amusing as I do, so who really cares ... ? |

That provision was taken out of the Patriot act recently , I think it should have stayed.

I don't think Geo Bush is a bad president but the worse pres the US ever had was Andrew Jackson. |
