Has anyone else booked a flight to Thailand with the Airmart travel agency? I have called numerous times, I leave in 2 and a half weeks and they still won't give me my prices! They told me the prices aren't available yet and can only give me may/june prices.

Everytime I have called they said they would know in a day or two and that they would get back to me asap. Well They have been saying that for two months now and I am getting quite concerned!

I know that it is extremely busy at this time of year, but surely they can tel me something. There aren't any thailand tickets left to book wiht another agency. Confused

i just received a ticket for BKK today, leaving in a couple of weeks. About W500,000, give or take, this time of year since its high season. Travel agents always have a good idea of what the fare will be no matter how far in advance (within reason). They have a book from the airlines that gives them a fare code depending on the time of year and travel season, amongst other things, and from that they can often quote a price. They have to adjust these given the time of year and if there are any outstanding circumstances (fuel surcharges, etc). Normally three or four weeks before departure they will have their rates locked in -- often at the end of a given month.

if you're looking for a better English-speaking travel agent, i'd contact one of the following:

Seoul: Alps Travel - [email protected]
Busan: Kangsan Travel - [email protected]

or you can check some of the "travel agent" threads on Dave's.

Good luck,
-SL

dude you have some patience I would have demanded a price!!!
thats totally BS they dont have a price!
of course they do.. if one travel agent has a price.. they all do!!
its all about who is willing to take less profit and who has bought the tickets early and in bulk..
they are not giving you good customer service , dont give them your money!! use another agent!
SUNNY at Freedom will get you the best price so will Unique try them both
