I read in yesterday's (Monday's) KH...an article on some beach area in korea giving discounts for hotel rooms, restaurants, to women who wear bikinis! Not enough women wearing bikinis and the area wants to promte bikini use!
My eyes were not playing tricks on me!
Anyone else see it?

Well, I would feel very uncomfortable wearing a bikini in this country...I get enough leers just wearing granny dresses.

What a rip-off! Blatant false advertising.

Let me explain...

Being the altruistic type I am (do a lot of work for charridee, don't like to talk about it), I thought I'd test this out and report back my findings for the greater good, J.S.Mill style.

So, not wanting to go halfheartedly, I spent a day waxing, trimming and generally getting myself into good shape. Damn, I even brushed my teeth with a real toothbrush instead of just using the bog brush like I usually do. Anyway, I had a good gargle with my favourite pine-fresh Toilet Duck bleach, as a lucky parting-shot before I left the hwajangsil. I was looking pretty DAAAAAYYYYUM HOT if I say so myself: tight (size 18, very skimpy) two-piece ensemble with Mickey Mouse motif splashed across the business end. By any rational nymphomaniac's way of thinking, those freebies mentioned by the OP were mine for the taking, and I was looking forward to it.

So I turned up on location, and, not wishing to let such an opportunity pass, I gave my sexiest hip-wiggling swagger some airtime, strolling along the promenade like an old Pro. Good golly miss Molly, I was even beginning to flick my own switch, such was the majesty that greeted me every time I caught a glimpse of myself in the hotel / restaurant windows. Free full-board, here I come!

Imagine my bitter disappointment then, when not ten minutes had passed and some audacious young Gyeongchalgwan approach and immediately slap the cuffs on, before whisking me away to the cop shop with frankly unnecessary alacrity. Well I never! What a deplorable way to treat an 84-year old Ajumma. Luckily they have free internet in jail, otherwise I wouldn't even be able to warn you that THIS IS ALL A TERRIBLE LIE! THERE IS NO BIKINI DISCOUNT!
