Every July for the last 10 years I've been unable to eat my favorite food in the world--corn on the cob: specifically Iowa corn picked fresh from the field an hour or so before lunch time. And today I scored big time from the first road-side pick up truck load of the summer. Ate myself into a stupor. Even better than yesterday's fresh green beans cooked with
bacon. Very Happy

After my nap I faxed in my contract. I've been stalling for three weeks till the corn was ready.

(I swear that Korean stuff is field corn.)

There's more than a kernel of truth in what you say.

Just keep it off the danged pizzas (mumble, mumble...)

The corn in Korea is terrible. Especially that stewed-for-10-days-on-the-street corn. Inedible in my opinion.

But then, despite being Irish, I have been lucky enough to experience fresh Chiliwack corn from BC. Done on the BBQ with good butter and salt. I've never tasted such a nice vegetable.

I bet the local stuff is Dent corn. It looks like Dent corn, has less flavour and seems more starchy than varieties across the pond.

Yes.

What will really boggle your mind is this:

Do people eat corn on their pizza in North Korea?

Do they even have people/pizza in North Korea?
