I had a new hard drive placed in my laptop and I noticed one of the partitioned drives occupied by 4 gigs and yet empty so I went in and exposed any hidden files and found GHO and GHS files. These are Norton Ghost files. I do not have Norton Ghost so they are no use to me.

Should I delete these files??????

Is it a used computer? Or did you have someone configure it for you?
The ghost files will be a back up- if it's not your back up then there's not much point in keeping them. But if you got your computer from a small shop and they handed it over to you already set up, then they may have backed up the drive with Ghost before giving it to you. A little insurance in case you came back a week later with the thing all futzed up. That back up is no longer up to date.

It's really up to you if you want to delete them or not; It's not pressing if you have lots of free space, but there's not much reason to them either if you don't have Ghost.
