Ah, yeah, gidday.
Story goes like this:
I've got an air ticket one way to Fukoka, and one of them holiday jobs for three weeks near Busan, for which the employers r making me do a visa run for the sake of gaining a C4.
Firstly, isn't a C4 like a supplementary job stamp kindof thing, soas to give permission for work beyond the stated job defined in the E2 visa?
Secondly, if I use that air ticket getting to Fukoka, then take the ferry back, is the Busan immigration going to get their knickers in a twist if I don't then have a ticket out of country?
Help appreciated heaps. |

if you already have an E-2 visa you dont have to do a visa run.
All you need to do is go to the local immigration office and they will sign and stamp it for 30,000won. |

Heh. Wrote that first entry at about 5am after not being able to sleep. Bloody heat-soaking concrete apartment blocks!
Forgot to mention I'm here on a tourist visa at the moment. That's why I was asking that first question too.
But more important is the second question: if I'm here on a tourist visa which then becomes a C4, should I take the ferry both ways and thereby keep the airticket out of the country, or can I save cash short-term and use the ticket to get there and just take the ferry back...? ie. do I need an airticket out of the country on a C4? |
